I’ve had many water bottles in the past, and I practically rely on the Camelbak filtered bottles daily. I will complain whenever I am without my bottle. I love my filtered water bottles dearly. My other one started leaking and had problems with an air bubble, but with the warranty I am hoping to get it replaced. So I decided to get a second one to replace it for awhile.. an because why not? The more bottles I have, the more I will drink water. Because of this bottle, I drink more water. I am rarely ever thirsty as I can just fill it up at any station without worrying about the nasty taste. One tiny problem is the expensive filter replacements. They have doubled in price in the past few months and I hope they will decrease by the time this filter is done with. Overall, it is very sturdy. I had about 5 Brita bottles and they would crack on the first few drops. I can drop my Camelbak many times and it will stay intact. It’ll just get scratched up, but it never fails me. My last bottle was over a year old and the tear was from normal wear and tear. I absolutely love the Lifetime Warranty. I need more of these bottles and more of these filters.

love it, good tasting water and easy to drink out of

I’ve had this for two months now, and I love it! I hate the taste of most tap water, but this takes that bad taste away. A lot of the reviews I read before buying, said it was hard to drink out of, and you didn’t get as much water as even drinking out of a normal straw, really? This is a bit valve, meaning you have to bit it to open it up, it is just like other Camelbak bladders. I have had NO problem with getting enough water. That being said, if you have teeth, jaw, or problems in general bitting things, this is likely not the water battle for you.

Works incredibly well, but make sure you replace the filter!

I got this bottle for my boyfriend who drinks A LOT of soda but is trying to get more water these days instead. He works on a college campus and ALSO attends classes there, so he is constantly drinking fountain water which he says has a pretty nasty taste to it a lot of the time. He absolutely LOVES this bottle and says it works so incredibly well; he really gets behind this product. It makes the the water taste so much cleaner and so much better. The only downside is he’s pretty lacksidasical with buying new filters for it, so if you are also a little on the lazier side when it comes to maintenance type things, find some way to keep up with replacing the filter or maybe try a different solution, you know?

Loved it on my vacation

I love this bottle! I purchased it for a European land and sea vacation, and it was perfect. I filled it at the airpot, on the ship, and in hotels. All along, the water tasted very good. No yucky taste. It was a little hard getting used to drinking from it. There is a bite valve, like on a Camelbak water bladder, and then you suck on it like a straw. I use my water bladder all the time while hiking, with no problem. But at first, I kept raising the Groove bottle as if it were a soda bottle, and then it won’t work, because the water moves up to the cap area, and the filter/straw has nothing under it. Once I quickly trained myself, I had no problems and it was comfortable and easy to use. The only downside is that it is a little heavy, even when not full of water. There is a ring on the lid that you can use to clip the bottle to something. I noted that, but didn’t have any need on this trip to use it. All-in-all, this is a very good product that looks good, too.

I can finally drink water from my office and college water fountains

I bought this mainly for my office because I was tired of paying $1.50 for a water bottle. We have a water fountain but like most water fountains, the water tastes and smells like metal. This bottle is awesome. It got rid of the smell of the metal completely and the water tastes same as filtered water that I drink from Brita filters at home. I even take this to my class and it works perfectly for the college fountains. From the information provided by the manufacture, this is recommended to be only used with tap water. This does not clean water that has bacteria or viruses. It uses a simple filter to eliminate chlorine and other substances that give the water a bad taste. I must admit it was annoying to bite and drink water from the tip at first but now I love it. It is actually fun to drink water from it and I got used to it in a day and now I am able to get a lot of water out of the tip. Overall I could not ask more from a bottle that costs less than $30. Also it doesn’t leak at all when I leave it inside my backpack while going to class. It is well made and looks nice. This is a must have for people who does not want to waste money on water bottles and who has access to tap water.

Great water bottle for the price!

I found this water bottle to help out a lot when I was pregnant as I hated the taste of our well water and it had dirt in it. This water bottle not only filtered out most of the dirt, but it also changed the taste of the water because what ever made it taste gross was filtered out. I was able to stay hydrated with water then juice or anything else of that sort. I would suggest this bottle if you have hard water or if you prefer to have your water filtered before you drink it. They are pretty good for the price, but are a little hard to clean.

Really helps with taste

I must admit I was skeptical about this product actually working to improve the taste of tap water but I decided to take a chance. I bought one for my wife since she will hardly drink tap water because of the taste. I gave it a little test by not telling her what it was until she had already drank from it and to my surprise she did not have her typical “bitter beer” face after drink tap water. In fact she acted as if there was nothing wrong. After I told her what it was she really did not believe it and wanted to put the tap water in the bottle for herself. The result was the same. So needless to say I am very happy with the product. Now i will not have to clean 100 empty water bottles out of the car. Great product even for the picky water drinker.

Finally some good tasting water!

I use to have a camelbak for quite a while which I would take with me to the gym. That one was made of a metal, i’m assuming aluminum. It worked great, but after a while the water inside started having that gross metal taste.

Great at first – Slow sipping – Leaking/Mold issues later on.

Great at first, Rubber mouthpiece started leaking upon temperature changes (Inside 70’s to outside 90’s) after about 9 months of use. Hard plastic piece that moves (the part that connects the tube in the bottle to the mouth piece) also leaking.

Just ok. Probably better options.

Bought these for vacation. Apparently they’re awesome, because one was stolen rightboff of my backpack. The filter part is a little weird to get used to, you have to suck pretty hard to get anything. Doesn’t work if you tilt your head beck st all, which I kept forgetting and doing anyway. The plastic cover for the tip comes off easily. Lost mine before the end of the trip. You can still drink without it, but it’s kind of awkward.
