I got this in the green color and just love it. There are a couple pouches that I keep biodegradable tissues, a couple granola bars or a few clementines, car keys, cell phone, chap stick inside. There’s a little hook on the side that I hang my ballcap on if I decide to take it off while hiking. I’m a 32 year old female approximately 5’5″ and this bag fits my body well. I live in the dessert and if I hike for 3 hours the water is gone by the end of those 3 hours. If I intend to go on a longer hike then I use a larger hydration pack. The water stays cold, I put ice cubes inside and they’re still in their cube form an hour later. I like the chest and waist straps because I wear this when I go on trail rides with horses so it’s handy to have the bag on tightly when the horse is galloping so the bag isn’t bouncing all over the place.

Excellent choice

The Camelbak reputation precedes this backpack. It was as expected – the best choice for me. It has a sufficient amount of space – several zip-able pockets and a pouch – to cope with items for a day hike. The reservoir at 100 oz lasted a 5-hour hike in 100˚F heat out in the desert of Utah. It’s comfortable, the ridges next to your back allow for ventilation and the mouthpiece is readily accessible. Additionally, there was no nasty plastic aftertaste to the water when compared to my best mate’s Osprey hydration pack. Generally very pleased with this purchase.

I started getting into cross country/urban/mountain biking and living in the midwest during the hotter season is pretty brutal. Longer rides where a bottle would do me no good.

My new bug out bag!!

I bought this bag for the sole purpose of traveling to Peru and hiking the Inca Trail. This bag is great!! It’s durable, fits tons of water, and has lots of space for the things you need! Camelbak is a great brand and has many things in its inventory to get you where you need to go. This product suited my needs and is now my new bug out bag in case this world turns upside down. It’s always filled with things I need in case I have to switch to survival mode. I use it now for camping, day trips, and outings with my family. Couldn’t ask for a more versatile bag. If you don’t need water where you’re going just take out the bladder and you have that much more space. Thanks Camelbak!!

Quality Manpurse/Running Pack

This pack is perfect. I’m not a fan of Camelbak’s bladder system (the water always tastes funny to me), but this pack is perfect as a manpurse. It fits a first-aid kit, my wallet, a couple pens, all my keys, some bandannas, dog-poop bags, and more. It’s comfortable to wear and has both a chest and a waist strap. Fits great great and feels good during a run–no bouncing like other packs I’ve had. It seems pretty rugged too. All in all, a great product–and you can always put the bladder system on Craigslist to make back a few bucks if you don’t want that.

I bought this for a EDC(Electric Daisy Carnival), there are lots of restrictions on type of bags that can be brought in the venue and was nervous that this wouldn’t work. However, I was so grateful that I brought this with me. Holds enough water that I only had to refill a few times throughout the night, and fits tightly enough that my dancing was not impacted. Definitely recommend this bag for everything. Music Festivals, Trail Running, Biking. The works. Its a great purchase.

Excelente product, a little too small for winter rides, where you need an wind protector and or rain protector. This backpack is ideal of an 2-3 hours ride or training and even when is usable for longer rides, you feel the need for more space, specialty for 5-7 rides in the mountains where you need some food and additional clothes.

People commented that you will forget it is on your back, not really but it is about as good as it can be. Riding in the Florida summer heat is tough, this things keeps your water cold, has plenty of capacity and is comfortable. A little hard to get the filler top on without spilling if it is really full. When filled with ice and water I think it actually keeps my back a little cooler.

Great Pak, Sweaty Back

The construction quality is outstanding, my only complaint is how much the antidote reservoir sweats. I filled my Camelbak the night before my hike only to find a soaking wet Camelbak in the morning. I figured I had a hole, but later realized it was a large amount of condensation. Other than that, the backpack is comfortable to wear, easy to drink from and an overall great product.
