Propulsion Trusstic System for Quick Transitions
The 8.1-ounce ASICS Women's GEL-Noosa Tri 8 Shoe allows you to maximize your performance with quick transitions, especially from biking to running. For outstanding responsiveness, it features the Propulsion Trusstic System, which creates tension as your heel strikes the ground and your toes lift off. Designed with the Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.) to enhance your natural gait and movement off the ground, the shoe includes the Guidance Line, a vertical flex groove that enables efficiency during your runs.
The GEL-Noosa Tri 8 features the GEL cushioning system in both the front and rear of shoe for maximum flexibility and shock absorption.

Stable Support with Lightweight Midsole System

The GEL-Noosa Tri 8 is made from Solyte midsole material, which offers different densities in the heel and forefoot for a comfortable feel. The shoe also features the Space Trusstic System, a stabilizing feature that creates a pocket next to the midsole, which results in more efficient foot function while maintaining structural integrity. For support and durability, it features Dynamic DuoMax support in the midsole and ASICS High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR) in the DuraSponge outsole.

Comfort Features Reduce Irritation

The shoe features a breathable mesh upper to reduce irritation on long runs or rides and helps keep your feet cool and comfortable. The perforated sock liner supports moisture drainage to keep your feet cool and prevent odors. The Wet Grip Outsole is made from a blend of components that enhances traction when running on wet surfaces.
Personalized Fit with Vivid Colors

To help with quick transitions and allow for a personalized fit, the GEL-Noosa Tri 8 features optional elastic laces along with heel and tongue grips for stability. The shoe is designed with bright colors on the upper and the soles for a vivid look that allows you to express your individual style and be more visible when running.

I didn’t need new running shoes; my other plain Jane Asics were hanging in there pretty well and still had some miles left on them. I’m not even a flashy kind of girl. So, I can’t tell you exactly WHY I randomly decided to get these shoes, I just know that I’m SO GLAD that I did.

Stylish AND comfortable!

These shoes caught my eye while browsing online. I loved the mint green color because they match my work scrubs, as well as the camo-like design around the perimeter of the shoe.

Shoe did not meet expectations

We bought this shoe for our daughter for a Christmas present. Due to the high cost, this was all she got. She runs Cross Country and track for school. These shoes were expected to be “broken in” during the track season and get into if not through cross country. yes, my daughter runs the stuffing out of her shoes. These shoes did not make it through the track season. The tred on the bottom is still in excellent condition. about 1/2 way through the track season, the top and bottom part of the shoe began to separate and the mesh around the toes ripped. We paid top dollar for a shoe that was supposed to be high quality and now have to go find her new shoes for cross country. We will go back to buying shoes at a store and most likely off the sales rack, they at least make it through a season of running. We are very disappointed in these shoes.

After years of searching for the right one, finally found the right shoe!

After being evaluated in a running store on a treadmill, they informed me that based on how my foot lands, I require a stability shoe. I went through approximately 5 different stability sneakers and could not take running in any of them. I run 7 miles a day and by my 3rd mile the shoes made my feet hurt and my toes numb due to their thickness. I ended up settling for a minimalist shoe, even though I was highly advised against it by the running shoe specialists at the store but it was the only type of shoe that I found comfortable. I ended up with a lot of soreness and injuries because of the thin shoe and finally came across the Tri 9’s at a store. They are the new version of the Aasics Tri 8 but I decided to purchase the Tri 8 and was pleasantly surprised that not only are they cheaper than the new Tri 9 but are also more comfortable. I have no complaints about these sneakers. They give my feet incredible support but still feel light and comfortable. They were my perfect find. Finally enjoying my runs now to the fullest!

Went a half size up after reading reviews…. totally unnecessary. No where near as comfortable as my Asics GelBlur SoLyte 33 2.0. In fact, I have been battling blisters with these , after paying so much more. Much heavier feeling than the GelBlur . Colors are great, but comfort just isn’t there for the price. Lesson learned about paying for quality. These were nearly double what I paid for the Gel Blur and absolutely NOT more comfortable. And yes, the laces come untied unless you double knot. I am new to the walk/run game, but these were a disappointment.

Pros and Cons

I loved these shoes. They fit perfectly and were very comfortable. I am a nurse, so I stand all day and these were my designated work shoes. They were very comfortable and did wonders to prevent my feet from hurting. One of the things I liked the most is also my biggest complaint. There is mesh over the toes, which allows air into the shoes to keep my feet cool. It took a little bit to get used to it as I could actually feel air blowing into my shoes as I ran around. I really loved that feature! However, it is also the biggest problem. Within a week or so, I had developed a hole in the mesh as my big toe started making it’s way out. Because it is such a thin lining, it took no time at all to wear through it. I still continued to wear the shoes for some time after that as I paid too much to only wear them for a few weeks. Overall, they were comfortable, fun, stylish shoes, but probably not durable enough in the toes for work.

Super happy with these shoes

Wow. These were my first pair of Asics and I am completely sold. I loved them so much that I went right out and bought a second pair.

Perfect Running Shoes for Flat Feet

 on January 2, 2014

I have only used Nikes for the gym and have honestly chose my shoes based on aesthetics, until now. I have become progressively active every year and have now reached a point where function far surpasses aesthetic. Nikes have always hurt my feet from either being too tight or not having enough support or too much support. I have always heard that Asics makes great running shoes and decided to finally give them a try. I went to a local Asics store and they fitted me for the best shoe for my flat feet that causes overpronation (my feet roll inward). I was told that the best shoe for me are the GT2000 or the Gel Noosas because they give the amount of stability for my type of feet. At the time they were both well over $100 and I didn’t want to spend that much on running shoes. A few months later I find them on Amazon and they were within my price range so I purchased these gel-Noosas.

Trust me, order a half size up~~

Super cute shoe. Love the colors they are very different from anything I have seen before so naturally I wanted them 🙂 However I always wear a 9.5 so that I have a little extra room because I don’t want my toes crushed up against the end of my shoes.

Long overdue for this review…

Ok…I ordered the wrong size and was too lazy to send them back. I should have ordered a 9 instead. Anyway, they were somewhat too big; thus, affecting my ability to give a full review. To start, I received loads of compliments. The colors are together are beautiful. The mesh on top is too thin for my liking. Toe box had plenty of room, keeping in mind they are too big for me. The cushion felt good at first, but it wears out very quickly. Can you say 6 weeks??? I wore them at least 5 – 6x a week for cross-training. Tried to run in them and my knees didn’t like it. This goes back to the cushion for me. Added an insole, Dr. Scholl’s, but that made them feel awkward on my feet. Now, I just wear them for styling and profiling. if you want a cute little shoe you can wear for a little while to exercise in and want to spend a ton of money doing it, these are great. They just don’t have enough support to regularly run in them. A few things about me…43 yrs old, 5’6″, 180ish at the time of purchase, treadmill jogging and walking, aerobic classes, and wore them while shopping. They are comfortable to do a long period of shopping…
