Great for Zumba/kick boxing.

I’ve been running in asics for over a decade, but recently started spending more time taking classes at the gym. My running shoes were not providing enough lateral support and causing foot pain. Most of the stores in my area don’t offer much for cross training, and no asics. After doing some research I decided to give these a chance. First, let me say they are really cute, I would have kept them for casual wear if they didn’t perform. I was a little concerned that they wouldn’t have enough cushion but no problems so far. I’ve had them for over a month, and probably gone to twelve kick boxing/Zumba classes, no break in needed and great support, no foot pain. They are so light, and the mesh is great, no sweaty feet. When I get home from a long run I can’t wait to peal off my regular running asics (nimbus that I love too) but these are to light I have to remind myself to remove them. I have only used these on the tread mill and my max distance was only three miles but no problems there. Not sure how they would preform on pavement for more distance. If you are used to running shoes you may feel like there is less arch support? I have pretty average arches and didn’t find this a problem. There is less traction, so a little slick when doing lunges etc., but great for Zumba. Overall I couldn’t be more pleased with these shoes!

thinner than expected.

I love asics and always wear them in size 7.5 but these are pretty thin, they still fit but not as comfy as I was hoping. I usually don’t have the problem with the width of a shoe, but these are pretty thin in width.

Pleasing shoe

I bought this shoe for walking and I wanted a lighter shoe. It does the job. I usually buy the Asics GT series but decided to go for something different. I normally buy 9.5 shoe size and while reading the below reviews, decided to buy this shoe in a 10. It was too big and I returned it for a 9.5. This fits nicely. I have owned these shoes for 3 months and have worn them regularly. I have only worn them for walking. I took them on vacation to Europe and they were great for walking around without being too heavy or bulky looking. The only thing I don’t like is that more than a few times, I feel like there needs to be more padding/cushioning. I have sensitive feet so this may explain this. I should have expected this with a thinner shoe bottom! Overall a great shoe and very pretty (I got the purple accented ones)!

Not a great sport shoes, cute for casual Friday

I originally bought these to use for tennis. I do not play tennis often, but I wanted a non-running shoe that was on the cheaper side for when I do. The only reason I still have these is that the return window closed before I could get myself in gear to return them. No excuse since Amazon makes it so easy.

I love the look of these shoes

I love the look of these shoes. I get compliments on them daily. They are perfect for lateral movements especially in Zumba…soooo light, good arch support and they feel like they were molded for my feet. the only problem I have with them so far is that within a month of wearing them exclusively indoors and only for Zumba, on a very clean floor, the black strip on the front of both shoes started to rub off, exposing the white. After the second month some of the pink on the toe if one did too! Considering the price this surprised me. But the overall effectiveness of the show as a SHOE is amazing.

PURPLE!

 on October 17, 2013

I love the color of these shoes. The purple is a little deeper than it appears in the picture (for me) but I prefer it that way. They look great, not particularly fake looking or anything like that. They are extremely comfortable. The lightest shoes I have ever worn. They do seem to have less heel support than expected but that’s not a problem for me. I generally wear a 7.5 or 8 but I got an 8.5. My toes on my bigger foot just barely touch the tip of the shoe, but I suspect the next size up would be too large for my smaller foot.

Great for the gym

I am a runner and Axis Keyano wearer. I have NEVER purchased gym shoes online however I figured since they were Axis and based on other reviews that I’d give it a go. Good call me!

kind of small

Love Asics shoes. Would have given it a 5 โ˜… if they weren’t too small. I’m a 8 1/2 and ordered a 9 and if fit jist right. Thanks to other reviews I read, I ordered it 9. Overall very light and comfortable ๐Ÿ™‚

The shoe runs small so order up!

I normally wear an 8.5 in running shoes but wanted a fitness shoe that “fit” and wasn’t too roomy in front. Since the reviews said the ASICS Gel ran small, I ordered an 8.5 and they fit great. I normally wear a 7.5 wide to an 8 in regular shoes. I have enjoyed wearing them at the gym and to Zumba classes.

great color! perfect for zumba class

i have only worn it once so i cannot comment on whether it is good for long term zumba use (however, since i own 7 other pairs of acis i think this will probably be at the same standard?) one thing i noticed is the fit is a little smaller than the other acis i own for some weird reason… it still fits but it is a little more snug, prehaps it needs to be break into first? but i LOVE the color.. it is a deep hot pink that is definitely eye catching ๐Ÿ™‚ it is extremely light so it will very well for some people… i always have a concern of having not enough support since i do zumba 7 days a week but i put insoles in all my shoes anyway… another good buy ๐Ÿ™‚
