These balls are great for the kids in the tennis quick step system, particularly for younger ones. The balls are pressure-less what gives the kids more time to place themselves better when hitting the ball. The two color felt is great for the kids to see how the ball spins. The balls are oversize and don’t bounce as the regular tennis balls what gives the kids a chance to hit rallies.

I have taught tennis to kids and adults alike before, but always with normal balls. With my 6 and 8 year old kids starting out, I found these balls…nice reviews and supposedly approved and certified for kids use, so I thought what the heck.

a bigger tennis ball for young ones

These worked great for my 5 year old grandson who loves to practice tennis. The size gives him just a little more edge to find that sweet spot.

Not only do our dogs love these, but so does the neighbor dog (she keeps swiping them, so I sent her a dozen of her own). Slightly larger and softer than regular tennis balls. I also like that the red stand out on the lawn – reducing lawnmower hits.

These balls are great for little kids. They are noticeably larger and easier to hit. They are very dead, so the low bounce is perfect for kids who are only 3+ feet tall. It’s also great that they are dead because we can play on the driveway and hit onto the grass, and it’s very hard to hit off the property. I only bought two dozen because I think we’ll switch to the green ones, the next level up, in a couple months and then these will be useless. With their attention span, two dozen is plenty anyways.

Great balls for 6 year old learning tennis

These are great for tossing the ball to my 6 year old who is learning to play tennis. They have less bounce than traditional tennis balls (and aren’t as hard/solid) so are much easier for younger kids to start playing with. We’ve been using them in the driveway for a couple months and they’re holding up well. Definitely a good investment and fun active learning tool.

this is a good product specially for kids beginning to love the game of tennis. balls bounces slower which gives kids more time to prepare. balls are larger than normal tennis balls. the color helps kids see how the ball spins. you will have longer rally with your kids using these balls. a must buy!

Love these balls. My 6 year old is playing tennis and these are the perfect balls to use to teach him on how to position himself and swing due to their slow bounce and speed. My husband and I also use them to work on our forehand and backhand form. I highly recommend these.

Good for initial learning.

These balls are good for teaching tennis to kids or less than 10 years of age in a tennis court. After many hits on the balls the balls appear to be softening. These balls may not last long if played daily and make hard shots.

Great tennis balls for kids or new players

I bought these for teaching my 4 young kids to play tennis (ages 4-7 years old.) They are heavier and larger than standard tennis balls. The Gamma balls don’t bounce as far and are slower than standard balls, which makes them great for giving kids more time to make contact & work on correct form. My kids have been taking tennis lessons at the YMCA in the winter months, and the YMCA uses the same balls for kids lessons. I’ll be buying more when spring arrives!
