Very convenient and easy to use. How many practice balls do you really need?

Very convenient and easy to use. How many practice balls do you really need, unless you are working with a ball machine that launches over 100 balls?

Won’t hold balls

I have found that the end that is supposed to hold the balls in with the rubber band doesn’t work well. It is either too difficult to get the balls into the tube, or too loose to hold them in as I pick up other balls. This depending where I place the rubber band adjustment. Have tried multiple configurations but nothing works very well. Don’t know how other reviewers apparently are having good luck with theirs, I would like to return the one I have for one that works, this just a pain in the neck.

Should have ordered two.

I like this product. It is clear plastic so you can see the balls. I recommend this product. Ships in it’s own box. It has one star crack and another small crack in it. That’s why I gave it a 4 star as it was damaged in shipping. It does it’s job. In a shipping review I noted this and took pictures. Amazon has not responded to this. I do not think a person sees or reads these reviews. I did not file for damages as it’s damages are slight and the product still useable.

Warped, but works

The tube came a little warped which required me to squeeze the end when emptying out the tennis balls. I tried putting clamps on the end for a couple of days in hopes of re-shaping it, but it just bounced back into it’s warped shape when I took the clamps off. Then I tried using a heat gun to gently warm up the end inside the rubber end-piece and then gently squeezing it, and that did the trick. Now it’s perfectly round and holds it’s shape. I’m not sure why other people said the strap is useless; it works fine, you just have to slide the buckle to give it enough slack to fit over your shoulder.

My daughter is taking tennis lessons and the parents are supposed to retrieve the balls. The instructor has a metal tennis ball pick up hopper which I found too heavy after carrying it around using using one arm. I also have a bad back and being on the court for over an hour and in the heat it was draining me. I ordered the balltube because I figured it would be easier to carry around on the court and be more light weight. It is easier to retrieve tennis balls than the metal hopper but I wish I ordered one that could hold a little more balls. I have to go clear across to where the instructor is to dump the balls in his cart more often now but there is less strain on my back.

The elastic for holding in the balls looks like it’s not going to last long

I haven’t used this much. It’s easier to use the basket to pick up the ball. With the tube you have to aim. with the basket you just bunch the balls together and press down. I have a bunch of red balls which is too big for this tube. Orange balls are ok. The elastic for holding in the balls looks like it’s not going to last long.

The best I’ve tried

It’s okay. Super neat concept and hangs on fence. Kid won’t use it. Too long for him and balls fall out quickly when squeezed

Very practical way to pick up tennis balls for smaller kids. A little tricky getting them out though.
