The Elite Grand IV is the most advanced battery operated portable tennis ball machine in the world. The Grand IV offers unrivaled full random oscillation. This revolutionary design allows the machine to throw balls throughout the entire spectrum of the court mixing up speed, spin, trajectory and oscillation. Furthermore, the Grand IV is governed by the machine's sophisticated computerized software which has been programmed to determine all possible combinations of speed, trajectory, and spin. This fully random technological advancement allows for the Grand IV to realistically simulate true match play, a feature that is unsurpassed by any portable tennis ball machine on the market. The Grand IV is also equipped with three pre-programmed six shot drills that simulate the most popular styles of play: grinder, all courter, and power baseliner. These incredible drills mix up speed, trajectory, and spin to prepare you to play against the world's elite! With the press of a button, you can now practice against the playing style of your choice. In addition, the Grand IV is equipped with the most extensive 3-Line function found today. With its three versatile positional settings; Narrow, Medium, and Wide, you can groove your forehand and backhand ground strokes or use it as a great way to warm up your shots. The Grand IV is also equipped with the most revolutionary control panel and optional wireless remote control found today. The "Lexan" control panel utilizes "touch-buttons" instead of dials, knobs, and switches. It also has a digital LCD screen which allows you to view all menu selections and settings. For those players who consider themselves "technologically challenged", do not fear. The Grand IV was developed to be incredibly user friendly and can be operated by even the youngest of players.

I am using this to help me re-groove my strokes after not playing for 12 years. I am VERY rusty. So I haven’t used the advanced functions yet other than test to make sure they work.

I ordered this machine about 2 months ago and have used it at least once a week since receipt. This is a great product. It will definitely improve your game and fitness level. It has features for all levels of game play. If you are on the court by yourself often, I would definitely recommend getting the remote. My family and I will have years of fun using this machine. It seems very durable and made with quality. The only negative feedback I have is with the power source. It comes with a 22 Gauge wire that can be easily damaged. I recommend wrapping it with electric tape or some type of insulation.

Drills are good. Well built

After lots of research and deliberation, purchased the Grand IV over the Elite 3 primarily due to included fast charger. Drills are good. Well built, easy to setup and use, relatively easy to transport in car or SUV. My daughter’s tennis coach uses an older model. Remote would be nice but isn’t necessary. Using Penn pressure-less balls. An investment but hopefully it will provide our family with years of use and improved tennis.

I carefully reviewed every ball machine available in the market place and finally narrowed down to Spinfire Pro ( $1899) , Silent Partner Smart ( $1799) and Lopster Garnd IV. I looked at the low end Lite series but realized that they are okay for short term needs but will get boring with time. I wanted a ball machine that meets by needs – I am very athletic and Level 4 player, MY kids are 12 years old and beginners. So wanted something that meets our varying needs.

Great workout, has really improved my game.

I bought a used unit for a couple hundred dollars less and it has worked perfectly. The charge seems to last a good while. I use it about an hour per day so only charge it about once a week. The remote is a must and very convenient when you want to change drills on the fly. On to the drills themselves. I will use a narrow 2 line drill to warm up both forehand/backhand then switch to one of the other drills. The grinder on random is a beast. If you thought a good human player will run you to both sides of the court, wait until you try this one. Unlike a human, the Grand IV does not get tired, will not call your ball out and returns it every single time. You will want to get 150 or so pressureless balls to use but if you’re really into tennis and improving your game, it is a worthy investment.

Ok – So I’ve only used this twice, but so far I love it. I’ve used it for two (2) hour sessions that were continuous use – switching amongst the 6-ball drill and the medium/narrow baseline settings. Each time throughout the 2 hour session – the machine was consistent in it’s power, spin, accuracy – and had no hiccups. Battery life has been amazing – no diminishment that I noticed at all after 2 hours. Setup was a breeze, and the touch control panel is fairly user-friendly. I do wish they didn’t charge you extra for the remote control (which I don’t have) – but it’s not a big deal. So it shoots 3 extra balls when I’m jogging back to change the program. Highly recommend for great workouts. Oh – for the baseline narrow/medium setting – I’ve been placing the spin at +1 and the speed at 70-75mph.
