PickleNet, the standard for dedicated senior players

My wife is obsessed with pickleball and plays in a league during the winter in our northern home town. Our local senior center operates on a limited budget and players have to bring their own nets and set them up mornings in a basketball gym. This pickleball net is unquestionably the go to standard for all the folks that that own nets and play year ’round. The metal net supports are sturdy and hold up under almost daily assembly and disassembly. PickleNet parts seem to have readily available replacements when parts get damaged. The net material is well made and heavy enough to withstand the impact of misplaced line driven pickleballs. Once our winter snows melt, the net will find itself set up on asphalt tennis courts to enable my wife and her senior friends to continue to pursue this obsession.

A friend and I have been using this net 3-4 times per week for a month now. It is very similar to the nets we used at the gym we previously played pickleball at. This net is well constructed and sets up quickly. It also seems to be very sturdy and should serve us well. I will update this review in the future if I begin to see any weaknesses or detrimental changes as we use it.

Very easy to set up. When setting up the net, make sure the side straps (velcro) are not too tight to avoid too much pressure on the straps when setting up the net. You might need an extra person to push the net in place, but easy to assemble and take apart.

I was very excited about this net when it arrived and would have rated it 5, even though it was much heavier than I expected. But when I used it for the second time, the little bracket on a side post base broke off. I called the folks at Racquet Galaxy 7 days ago and was told that the person who knows about the nets would call me right back – never happened. I’ve been using the net anyway, but am concerned about that missing piece. 9/22 U[date: I contacted Racquet Galaxy by email and Brandon is trying to help, contacting the manufacturer. 9/23 Update: Brandon tells me replacement parts will be shipped by the manufacturer. Now I rate this 5 stars!

Great product for our level of use. beginner picklers, playing 4 times per week on average. Have used it since May/2013 . Sturdy product, easy to put up and take down. Net holds up well in the hot Arizona sun. Should be interesting to see how long it will last here. Will purchase again if needed , can recommend this. It gives us lots of fun playing time.

We started a Pickle Ball program and ordered this to use in a multi-functional space. The frame has never quite gone together correctly and I am always having to fight with it to get it straight. The net itself is okay but there is already a hole in it and we only use it about once a week. The end of the net, where the net slides over the end poles, has split and ripped and there is nothing I can do other than try to tape it back together. I wish this was a little higher quality, especially since it is supposed to be easy to take down and set up.

The best net I’ve ever seen

This net is a little more expensive than others that I’ve seen, but it is really a lot better. It’s heavier, so it’s not affected by the wind outdoors. Also the elastic bands on the top and bottom of the net keep it taught all the time while allowing balls to roll underneath. Finally, the bar in the center of the net is much more stable than simply a rod like all the other nets I’ve seen.
