Pocket Radar-Pro Performance in the Palm of Your Hand
Pocket Radar is the next generation in radar technology. Independently tested and certified accurate by the police radar test lab, it delivers the same great accuracy of other professional radar guns at a fraction of the cost and fits in the palm of your hand. Its compact size allows you to keep it within reach any time you need it.

Pocket Radar allows anyone to afford the same accurate speed measurements as other professional radar guns in a smaller, more convenient package. The hand-held size allows you to take measurements discreetly without changing the behavior of athletes or those you are observing. It can do more than traditional radar guns, including measuring runner speed and acceleration, as well as ball speed out of the hand, and ball speed off the bat, stick, club, or racquet. Pocket Radar works great for traffic safety/engineering, baseball, softball, volleyball, tennis, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, golf, cricket, motorsports, R/C hobbies, winter sports, education, and many more.

Powerful Training Tool
Add more power to your hit or kick, and more speed and control to throws or pitches. Accurate speed measurement allows you to see the direct results of your training. Winner of numerous innovation awards, the Pocket Radar is designed for exceptional performance in a wide variety of applications. Pocket Radar is convenient and rugged enough for everyday use, from National Championship-winning coaches (see below) to anyone interested in speed.
Innovation from the Inside Out
Certified accurate enough to meet the demands of traffic professionals, the Pocket Radar is also a versatile and affordable sports training tool used by coaches and teams from pro to amateur. The simple point-and-shoot interface easily allows you to measure speed with the touch of a single button and can take over 10,000 readings from two standard AAA batteries. This allows you to go months, instead of hours, on a single set of batteries. Built from the same high-impact plastic as hockey helmets, the Pocket Radar is rugged enough to perform well in even the most demanding sports environments.

I coach middle school and high school softball pitchers and needed something that I could use to measure their pitching speed. I needed it to be something that I could hold in one hand, while I catch the pitches in my glove. I heard about the pocket radar, and saw the positive reviews so I decided to see it it met my needs. I received it on Friday and on Sunday I want to a local clinic where I knew I could compare it to the more expensive juggs brand guns that they use there.

Purchased this for our pitching lessons. Took a minute to figure out how to use. Face screen to your face when catching. Its really compact, which is great for carrying around, and seems right on as far as accuracy. Excited about this product

Great product as advertised!!!

Love it. Very small and discreet so pitchers and fans can’t even tell you are checking pitching speeds.

I picked this up for measuring the speed of my daughters pitch in softball (12″ balls). The results are consistent and fairly accurate. I’ve been very impressed with this. My only complaint is that you need to get the timing right to take the reading of a pitch.

Seems accurate and is so small it is very convenient

I coach softball and this is so easy to use, carry around, etc. It seems very accurate and the batteries have lasted a long time. I also play baseball and have had friends clock me and it seems accurate for that, too (though I wish I could throw a few mph faster!). It takes a few practice throws to get used to when to time pressing the button but that’s not a problem, you just need to read the directions and follow them….Press the button as the pitcher’s arm begins coming forward, NOT as they release the ball.

Read a few reviews about mis-reads. I’m gonna say 1 in about 30 are bad, not enough to take a star away. Works great and fits in the palm of your hand. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now, probably 30 or 40 times for an hour each time and the batteries are still going strong.

I have to update this review. I was contacted by the President of Pocket Radar, he sent me a new unit and this past weekend I used it at a baseball tournment. I am happy to report the unit worked fine, the readings were in line with other radar guns that were in use at the time. I am happy to report that I would recommend this product, and would like to thank the people at Pocket Radar for looking out for their customers and backing their product. NICE JOB !

Great Coaches gift

accurate. Great Coaches gift! we have used it often. Everybody loves it when they see it, too. fits in pocket. At a baseball tournament a coach from another team came up and was clocking my sons speed with his “Professional scouting radar gun” and he was getting the same reading as I was, but his was big and obvious. I can discreetly go up to his son’s game and clock his pitch speed and no one would notice.

I’ve run it next to a couple of the big, gun-style radars and it’s typically within one mile an hour, give or take. Discreetly radar your pitchers (or others) so as not to mess with them. Easily fits in your pocket. About the same footprint as my smart phone, though a little thicker.
