This racket is a great starter racket for the total beginner who isn’t sure if they will be playing more than a couple times a year. I bought it a long time ago on Amazon to play and learn with, then quickly upgraded racquets about 4 or 5 months later once I realized I love the sport. Those 5 months allowed me to truly enjoy learning the game for a minimal investment.

About the racquet: I have long fingers, and I got the 4 1/2 grip. It is a bit small for my hand

Good, inexpensive racket

This is a good racket for beginner to intermediate players. Light, and easy to swing. It has a good grip.

Great value for weekend warrior

Great racket for price. I use to play regularly 10 years ago. This is much better than my old rackets…at a fraction of the cost. I also bought a middle of the road Head…Conquest Ti. This Wilson is clearly the better overall racket of the 3. I plan to buy another for my teen

Decent but for beginners.

It’s good for beginners I don’t use it as much as my wife does. But when I do use it it doesn’t take hard slices very well. You can feel the give on the racket face quite a bit when you hit the ball hard. However, it does have a very good top spin control. Also it will mark up your tennis balls for the first few times you play with red lines from the red “W” on the face.

I am a total beginner and really only purchased this to start getting my young son involved with tennis and I needed a racket to help him practice with hitting the ball back and forth when he is home. It does fit my hand really well, and is very lightweight. Quality seems great and I am very happy with it.

It is a great gift for a future tennis lady!

I purchased this racquet for a 14 year old teenager who was advised to get this one. It was a total surprise when she came home from school and found it on the doorstep. She told me that she loves it and wanted it for her summer tennis lessons.

Perfect for beginners.

With the right grip size, this racket was perfect for my son, age 15 to take a 10 week tennis class over the summer. He was using an older version of the same quality. After replacing his old racket with this new one, he improved a great deal. This was just the right size and quality to continue growing in his skills. It’s inexpensive enough to use for a couple of years and then replace if he finds he wants to play tennis more regularly.

This is the perfect starter racquet

I recently started playing tennis again after about 20 years of not playing tennis. This is the perfect starter racquet. I’m about 5’5″ and it doesn’t feel too big at all. It’s also very light, which helps because I’m very slow.
