Compelling game

 on November 10, 2012
By Eagle Vision
The game is set up with many professional athletes on tour, and you can choose between men and women. I have played the World Tour, only, and I have to say it’s compelling. Graphics, sound effects and physics are excellent. As you progress on tour, you can go through various mini-games which train your player to improve upon their skills. As you complete matches, you qualify for the major tournaments. If you don’t qualify, you have to play against lesser ranked players to advance. Though not terribly difficult, the energy of your player diminishes since he or she is playing more matches than those who already qualified.

I have some vita games most of them are popular in the US, so I happened to get this not very popular game off Amazon. I’m not a pro gamer because I don’t have enough time, but I ended up got addicted by this very game, Virtua Tennis and ultimately I think I love this sport more and more now! For 27 bucks, it’s the best valued game I got so far.

Pocket VT4!

Classic Virtua Tennis action for the Vita. I’ve always loved this game, dating all the way back to my first experience on the Dreamcast. This is arcade Tennis at it’s best with an expanded World Tour Mode. Looks great for the handheld, plenty of options to keep you entertained for both long and short play sessions, just an all around fantastic game.

Career Mode

This has the worst career mode of any game, other than previous versions of virtua tennis. You have move tickets that move you around a world map, but you can only move to the spot dictated by the ticket in hand. You get to do lots of silly mini games, rest at hotels, and occasionally can play a practice match against someone. What you DONT GET TO DO is play any actual tennis tournaments. Its really stupid and soooo needs to be revamped. Kills this whole game.

I really like playing this game and it’s awesome when you want to get your tennis fix on the go. The game has a nice selection of players like Federer, Djokovic, and Nadal. But it’s also missing some notable players like Serena Williams and a few others. The game plays really well and looks great for a handheld game. Even though it’s the only tennis game for the Vita, I highly recommend buying it if you enjoy tennis.

Really enjoyable with outstanding graphics. Would like even more tour players without having to “unlock” though.
