Great Buy, for the Price.

My wife wanted to go back to tennis after 7 years, and since she never finished her training the first time, we decided to get a beginners racquet and see how it works for her. A little bit of online search revealed this Wilson model among the top ranked beginners’ racquets which was also surprisingly the cheapest on the list! It was a no-brainer, and we ordered it through Amazon.

Great Racket for the Money

I bought two of these for my 9 year old son, who wants to start playing tennis. The extra large head is nice for beginners and the racket is very light. Highly recommend for the entry level player.

Great racquet for beginners, great price.

My son wanted to join tennis for the first time (freshman) and we had a rather expensive, but older racquet at home. Turns out there are lots of thing I do not know about tennis and racquets. The old one was heavy and the strings were, apparently, not consistently tight. I really don’t understand the jargon. Anyway, went on Amazon and read reviews for this, purchased one, and he LOVES it. He came home ecstatic over the improvement in his game immediately.

Even my discerning pro thinks these are a great value

We just moved in near some tennis courts, and my resident former-pro tennis player hasn’t had his Donnay racquets re-strung in a while. As a quick inexpensive option when we had our housewarming BBQ, I bought two of these — and my pro is very pleased! No, they are not competition racquets, but for a discerning recreational player, they are a nice quality, responsive, and a great buy!

Light and Strong

I want to start out by saying that I am a complete novice. However, these rackets are large, light and worked extremely well during the two hours that I’ve used them so far. I bought two, and my friend liked them very much as well. They were comfortable to use, and were a large improvement over some older, heavier and more expensive models that we had been using. Highly recommended – at least for novice use.

Comfortable, good grip, great price.

It is comfortable, good grip, and the extra size makes a difference. It could be a just a little heavier but that is a question of personal preference. If you are just starting out or play casually, this racquet makes playing enjoyable.

Just boy it

Great beginner’s racquet

I bought this for my son who started playing tennis about 3 months ago. He loves it better than the two we got from Costco at $50/ea. He already wants to upgrade to another racquet but we’ll hold off until he has more experience. If you’re starting out and don’t have a racquet, this is a great choice.

An OK racquet for beginners like myself, in spite of what my snooty, tennis-addicted sister-in-law has to say about it (i.e., it’s too light, she’s not sure it’s an adult racquet, etc.). To me, the price was right, it’s light, and it serves its purpose. New to the game, I like it! I just have to remember not to yell “FORE!”, when hitting passers-by with my tennis balls.

Good buy

I am terrible at tennis but wanted to hit balls around with a friend at a nearby court. This was a good way to be able to play with him without spending a fortune. Has held up well.
